Quick Guide

A Useful ‘How to..’ Guide for Lambeth’s ‘Your Care, Your Way’ Website

For ease of use, there are three different ways to search for services.

1.                  Navigated browsing.  Use the picture icons to search for the type of services you want.

For example, clicking

will give you a choice of five options.  Choosing

from these options will return a list of services that can help you with claiming benefits.

2.         Alternatively you can use the search function. The search tools gives you the added ability of being able to search for relevant services within a distance of your choice from any Lambeth post code or location.

3.         Finally, you can use the Site Map via the link at the bottom of each page.

Google Translate

In addition to the Site Map link, at the bottom of each page you will find ‘Google Translate’. This application allows you to translate the page into a number of different languages by simply choosing one from the ‘select language’ drop down box.

Search Results

When your navigated browsing / search returns a number of services you will see something similar to the image below.

You can now click on the name of a service to see its details.

Alternatively, under the ‘Filter your results’ column you can narrow down your search results even further. For example, choosing a benefits advice service which helps older people. You can also filter your results by post code to find services near your home.

Service Details Page

Once a service is chosen you will see a service description and details plus a map location.

The button will send an email directly to the service provider, while the  button will send your comments on the service to the ‘Your care your way’ website administrator. The button will allow you to create a shortlist of services as you browse the site.

In the 'Location' section of Service Details click the (directions) link and this will open up the Transport for London Journey Planner, with the destination already entered. If you wish to visit the service, all you have to do is enter where you’re journey starts and it will tell you the best route.

Social Media

There are also options to share the page via social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
